Gorgeous Summer Maternity Session with Pretty Purple Flowers and the Lushest Greens

It’s perfect timing when your bump is ready to be photo’d just as summer is displaying its prettiest colors! There’s nothing like capturing the magic of the season alongside a glowing and expectant mama. For her session, Alex and I were hoping for a back drop of lavender fields, but alas, the lavender wouldn’t be ready until later in the year. Instead, she found a gorgeous spot nearby her home with the prettiest flowers and a fun bridge for some nice family portraits as well. Alex looked absolutely fresh and beautiful at 7 months pregnant in her blue floral dress. Her family is so playful, and I loved capturing the soon to be big brothers and sisters alongside the bump.

It’s moments like these that remind me why I love photography. Being able to freeze such a fleeting moment like a growing belly to create some precious, lasting memories for this family was such an honor.
